Courtesy Class Etiquette

– Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class.
– For safety and consideration of all students, no one is permitted to enter or join the class after its commencement.
– Anyone who has arrived the class after its commencement is encouraged to sign up for a next available class.
– No cellphone or mobile device is allowed in the classroom or in any practice space. Please silence the phone and leave it with the rest of personal belongings.

Teacher Training – Can anyone be the instructor?

We do require that you have a good understanding of the body, movement, and strength. If you are currently a yoga teacher, pilates teacher, dedicated yoga practitioner, dancer, physical therapist, fitness enthusiasts, and/or have taken several aerial yoga classes with us is also a huge plus.

What is Cancellation Policy?

We require a 24 hour advance notice for cancellations as per industry practice. As time is the most precious commodity, we respect everyone’s time.

Do I have to make a reservation or can I walk-in?

We highly recommend making reservations to secure a slot as our classes most definitely get filled up quickly.

Can flying yoga heal my back pain?

Our practitioners have amazing testimonials of healing through our zero-compression inversions. We are currently having studies commissioned in order to gather concrete evidence, until then you will only know by coming to class.

How will I feel after?

You will feel taller, lighter and happier. Your muscles will have a pump and you will be refreshed!

Will I get dizzy?

If one has a strong propensity for dizziness or a hips over head spatial awareness style dyslexia this could be a challenge. Ginger candy before class can help.

Should I come on an empty stomach?

We recommend having something in the stomach to stave off dizziness, however, we do not recommend a big meal.

Do I need to be physically fit?

Not necessarily. Flying yoga is easier than regular yoga because the hammock supports you in your poses. However, flying yoga is easiest for someone who maintains a consistent fitness regime and has a strong core.

What should I bring?

Water and sweat towel and an open mind.

What should I wear?

Ladies: Active wear with sleeves and covers legs.

Men: Compression pants with shorts over them for comfort.

Form fitting cotton or cotton blend fabric(non-slippery).
